The Lord's Prayer The Lord's Prayer is in Chapter 6 of the Book of Matthew in the New Testament as follows: Matthew 6:9 .....Our Father, you are in heaven holy be your name, 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven 11 Give us this day our daily bread 12 Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us 13 Do not lead us to the test but deliver us from evil. For the Kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. |

| In this prayer, Jesus considers all of us as his brothers and sisters in God, because He tells us to call His Father our Father. Jesus does not claim exclusive sonship to God. I like this prayer very much because it makes me feel like a brother to the greatest teacher of all time. I love the prayer so I composed a melody for me to sing it all my life. |
